30% of children connect between one and two hours a day while 20% do more than two hours, according to figures dropped by Family.tv and Yeep! Kids Media. The reality that connects them with the virtual world between chats, online videos and social networks, disconnects them from the stimulation of their motor, social, physical and cognitive competences.

This, coupled with the two and a half hours a day that the children of Bogota live in front of the television, according to a study of the Institute of La Familia of the University of La Sabana, affects his personality and the development of the 10 intelligences of Gartner that make up the integrity Of the human being. Even professionals such as the neurologist Gustavo Castro, say that one of the main atrophies that this generates is reprocessing in the neurological development of children in praxic memory and motor skills.

But how to disconnect the minors and at the same time encourage the stimulation of their development? In addition to family therapies, sports and contact with nature, amusement parks are the perfect place to stimulate these intelligences and reconnect children and adolescents with a physical reality that will lead them to test their Skills, and family sharing.

According to a study of the Mundo Aventura park, more than 360,000 children, belonging to the strata 2,3 and 4, enter the most important and most trafficked park in the country, which has Recreational spaces where there have been important investments focused on the recreation of minors.

Amanda Arias, deputy director of human talent at Mundo Aventura Park and a psychologist by profession, says that "there is definitely a direct relationship between the development of skills in children and their outdoor activities. When children face the different attractions and scenarios of a park like ours, they get tools that will serve them to improve their motor skills and their confidence, and even topics such as understanding and interpersonal relationships.

According to Howard Gardner, a psychologist, researcher and professor at Harvard University, known in the scientific field for his research in the analysis of cognitive abilities and for having formulated the theory of multiple intelligences, intelligence is not one, but many. We all have all the intelligences, in different proportions, and they expect the opportunity to develop throughout our life.

For Gardner, the culture, education and environment in which each individual grows will be definitive in its structuring and development. In the practical case of each of the intelligences formulated by this expert, the children can develop them in the physical and cognitive activities that are in spaces like the amusement parks.

According to Amanda Arias, "in the case of Mundo Aventura, there are different scenarios associated with the body movements in which children can develop, for example, kinesthetic intelligence. In areas we call Playground and Soft Play, children of various ages can run, jump, climb, roll and perform many activities that can contribute to issues such as freedom of movement, gross motor skills and balance.

Non-mechanical attractions with sloping floors and dark enclosures that generate optical illusions also expose children and adults to diverse experiences related to balance and motor skills. Also, attractions that have to do with the driving of small cars or other vehicles, contribute in the coordination between feet and hands, and movements associated with visual or spatial intelligence and coordination in relation to speed and movement.

Similarly, these non-mechanical attractions can contribute to the experiences of figure perceptions, spatial relationships, directions, and sizes. "According to each childs experience and exposure to aspects such as space and movement, he can integrate and process all the information he is receiving from the environment and, depending on his level of development, will have the possibility to feel the challenge so that his intelligence Put into operation and anticipate, imagine or assume how it will vary a moving object to which it is exposed, "says psychologist Arias.

Other types of intelligence that are potentialized in spaces such as amusement parks are Linguistic Intelligence that is developed with the attractions of narrative, storytelling and theater, Logic-mathematics, with games such as puzzles or shopping roles in which the Value of things, the Naturalist-scientific, in which children are related to nature and animals, Artistic-spatial, with painting, constructions, maps, figures of clay or clay, Musical, with activities Of dance, concerts and practice of instruments, the Interpersonal, with games in group and the Creative, with the manufacture of crafts.
