Tips para cuidar el cuero cabelludo - Tips for caring for the scalp



Tener molestias en el cuero cabelludo resulta incómodo y a veces doloroso. Cuando el cuero cabelludo está en malas condiciones se presenta picazón, irritación y pérdida del cabello. Por estas razones es indispensable conocer los cuidados necesarios para mantener un cuero cabelludo saludable.

La Dra Luz Marina Díaz, experta en medicina estética y cuidados de la piel, nos da unos tips para cuidar adecuadamente nuestro cuero cabelludo:






Lavar el cabello con shampoo y acondicionadores adecuados para cada tipo de cabello: seco, graso o normal.

Es un mito que el aumento en la frecuencia en los lavados provoque la caída del cabello.

Lavar el pelo con agua templada o fría, evitar los baños prolongados con agua caliente ya que afecta la barrera hidrolipodica del cuero cabelludo.

Los acondicionadores se deben aplicar de medias a puntas.

Para secar el cabello hacer presión sobre el mismo con la toalla, no frotar.

Al momento de desenredar el pelo se debe iniciar desde las puntas en progresando poco a poco hasta la raíz.

Se aconseja utilizar tratamientos para mejorar la hidratación al menos una vez por semana, siempre teniendo en cuenta que tipo de pelo se tiene.

El peinado diario y masajes estimulan la microcirculación del cabello, pero se debe tener en cuenta que en los cabellos con tendencia a la seborrea el masaje debe ser moderado.

Evitar peinados con mucha tensión esto podría conllevar con el tiempo a daños en el folículo piloso y alopecia por tracción.

Evitar en lo posible el uso de los secadores y planchas a altas temperaturas esto debilita la fibra capilar.

La producción de sebo esta estimulada en su mayoría por factores hormonales por lo tanto si una persona presenta un cuero cabelludo muy seborreico asociado a otros síntomas, debe ser valorado por un especialista.

Una alimentación balanceada es clave en la salud capilar al tener deficiencias en algunos aminoácidos, oligoelementos, vitaminas, se verá afectado el cabello presentando fragilidad, caída y falta de brillo.

Avoiding hairstyles with a lot of tension can lead to damage to the hair follicle and traction alopecia over time.

To avoid the use of dryers and plates at high temperatures, this weakens the hair fiber.

The production of sebum is stimulated mostly by hormonal factors therefore if a person presents a very seborrheic scalp associated with other symptoms, it should be valued by a specialist.

A balanced diet is key in the health capillary to have deficiencies in some amino acids, trace elements, vitamins, will affect the hair presenting fragility, fall and lack of shine.
