Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with Refreshing Shirley Temple Drinks

Summertime is just around the corner, pretty soon we’ll be looking for delicious drinks to keep us refreshed during backyard BBQs or pool parties. Today I want to share a delicious drink that everyone will love for the upcoming Memorial Day. Do you have any plans for Memorial Day weekend yet? If not, then now is the perfect time to start preparing, you can find all you’ll need for your family gatherings including these cute mason jars and party decor at Big Lots.

There are many refreshing drinks you can make for this Memorial Day, but I decided to do a little experimenting. I thought what better way to celebrate Memorial Day than with some Shirley Temple drinks that can easily be made with just a few simple ingredients, and is sure to be a hit with all of your guests especially the little ones!

Shirley Temple

Ingredients: (Serves 1)

1/2 C. Ice Cubes

1/2 C. Orange Juice

1/2 C. Ginger Ale

1/2 C. Sprite or any other lemon-lime soda

2 Tbsp. Grenadine

1-2 Maraschino Cherries

2 Slices of Lime
 

Directions:

Fill glass half full with ice.

Add in 1/2 cup of orange juice.

Next, add in both Ginger Ale and Sprite soda.

Add in 2 tbsp. of Grenadine syrup.

Garnish with slices of lime and maraschino cherries.

Add a straw and enjoy!
