Dia Del Niño Nabisco RITZ Snack #ConMasSabor
Every day after my daughter gets home from school, I give her a big hug because I’ve missed her and I want to know how her day went. But of course, the answer I always get is “Bien. Mami que hay de comer, tengo mucha hambre.” meaning “Good. Mommy what did you make, I’m really hungry.” I am constantly looking through the Nabisco Snack Works website for easy after-school snack recipes to prepare for my daughter while I finish preparing dinner, this is one of my favorite sites because they give a spin on traditional latin favorites I grew up with.

Nabisco is providing a variety of fun and delicious Latino inspired recipes that are just right to treat the family for the upcoming Día del Niño this April 30th. And what better than to treat them with refreshing recipes that pair perfectly with the Spring season.

RITZ Avocado Merienda #ConMasSabor
I found this very easy, yet full of flavor recipe you can make with just a few ingredients. These RITZ Garlic Butter crackers alone are very tasty, then topped with avocado, cheese and tomatoes make them for a delicious snack for anyone of any age to enjoy.

I topped with some of Naty’s favorites; string cheese, grape tomatoes and kid-friendly guacamole which is just simple mashed avocado with lime juice and salt. Of course, if your kiddos like onions and jalapeños, go ahead and add them in. Growing up I remember my mother having our fridge and pantry stocked up with string cheese and RITZ, along with other of our Nabisco favorites to snack on after school while she got home from work. Today I want to do the same and change it up a bit by turning up the yum! Want to join me?
