School has finally started! (High five!) Like many moms, I’m trying to get back to my daily routine of getting up early to get everyone up and ready for the day ahead. I usually wake up at 4 a.m. to pack my husband’s breakfast and lunch then wait for 6 a.m. to get Naty up and ready for school. Something that I always find myself having a hard time with is breakfast. I like quick and easy to eat on-the-go options like the NEW Quaker® Real Medleys® Yogurt Cups I found while shopping in the Breakfast/Ready-to-Eat Cereal aisle at Walmart.
Yep, you read that right shelf-stable yogurt cups in the cereal aisle! I have never seen anything like this before, I had to read the label twice! I decided to take a few home with me to try them out because they just sounded so yummy. Best of all they’re made with real ingredients and are packed with 25 grams of whole grains and 10 grams of protein all in a single serve cup, making this for a satisfying and delicious breakfast for those who are always on-the-go.
All I had to do was simply add 1/2 cup of cold milk, stir, and the dry ingredients which include multigrain granola, real fruit and crunchy nuts transformed into a tasty yogurt treat. I only found two out of the three delicious flavors (Strawberry Almond, Apple Cinnamon, Raspberry Pecan), but will be on the look out for the other because I love the convenience of this product, Naty and I can eat it on our way to school when we’re in a rush, plus it’s a satisying way to get some whole grains in for the day.
If you find any of the Quaker® Real Medleys® Yogurt Cups in the cold/ready-to-eat cereal aisle at Walmart make sure to download the Blippar app from your Apple or Android store to scan your package and receive information tutorials on Quaker® Real Medleys® Yogurt Cups.
And since I like pairing my to-go options, here is an Easy Chorizo and Egg Breakfast Burrito recipe I often make for my husband since he never sits down to eat breakfast, today I will be packing him a Quaker® Real Medleys® Yogurt Cup I’m sure he will love, because he has a weakness for Crunchy. Cool. Yum.
